 Megan
Durell
has extensive training in modern, jazz, tap, lyrical,
hip hop and Checcetti ballet technique. She
received her Bachelor of Science in Dance with a minor
in Philosophy at Stephen F. Austin State University
where she also danced with the Repertory Dance Company
for four years. She has been awarded many
scholarships from LA Dance Force and has trained with
instructors from various Texas University and danced
works choreographed by Stan Bobo, Shelly Cushman,
Genevieve Durham, Lesley Snelson-Figueroa, Cindy Gratz,
Alice Howell, Julie King, Elizabeth Gillaspy and
Elizabeth Rhodes. Megan has been teaching dance
all over Texas for eight years and has been dancing with
Motor Dance for three seasons.
